In the Sacca Serenella, on Murano, the ‘Cantiere motonautico Serenella’ builds mahogany boats by hand: Venetian water taxis, lagoon limousines and yacht tenders.

The seriess follows the work at the shipyard: the mahogany planks drying in the open air, the hulls on trolleys in front of the shed, the polished planking, the light streaming in through the latticed windows. It is Opera Viva’s first collaboration, from 2025.
