Marina Cala dei Sardi

Marina Cala dei Sardi is a marina in the Gulf of Cugnana, on the north-eastern coast of Sardinia, between Portisco and Porto Rotondo. It is situated about sixteen kilometres from Olbia Airport and is open all year round.

It is a floating marina. The jetties and moorings utilise the Seaflex system. A series of floating breakwater modules protects the harbour basin from north-easterly winds. With this solution, the seabed of the gulf – renowned for the clarity of its water – has remained unaltered, and galvanic currents have been eliminated. The marina has received accolades for its low environmental impact, and visitors can step straight into the water from the jetties to go for a swim.

It began as a charter base and is home to a fleet of around one hundred vessels, including sailing boats and catamarans, ranging from 9 to 24 metres in length. In recent years, it has reinforced its moorings and reorganised its facilities to accommodate yachts in transit over 25 metres and catamarans over 50 feet. There are around 140 berths, for vessels up to 60 metres in length. Onshore facilities include mooring assistance, 24-hour security, a bar, a restaurant, showers and a large car park with electric vehicle charging points. Wi-Fi is available on the jetties, and the VHF channel is 8.

The marina is part of the NSS Group, led by Simone Morelli. The Yacht Club was founded to extend the sailing season with regattas, sailing events and a sailing school even outside the summer months. It will be based in a new clubhouse featuring a restaurant and a private function room.
