Cantieri Capelli is based in Spinadesco, in the province of Cremona, where it designs and builds fibreglass boats and rigid-hulled inflatable boats. Founded in 1974, the shipyard has, over time, developed a range of products that combine technical expertise, design research and a focus on the needs of boaters.
The range comprises open boats and inflatable craft of various sizes and configurations, designed to cater for different ways of enjoying the sea: from everyday cruising to sporting outings, right through to on-board experiences focused on comfort and socialising. Each model is the result of a process involving design, hull analysis, layout planning and the selection of materials, with the aim of combining functionality, performance and build quality.
Production takes place at the Spinadesco shipyard, where the various stages of manufacture transform the design into a finished vessel. The construction of the fibreglass hulls is carried out alongside the assembly of components, the fitting-out of the vessel and the installation of systems, right down to the finalisation of every detail. It is a process that requires coordination between different areas of expertise and constant monitoring of the work.
Throughout its history, Cantieri Capelli has expanded its production beyond Italy’s borders, establishing a presence on international markets. The shipyard continues to develop its range in line with developments in the boating industry, combining manufacturing expertise, technical innovation and Italian design culture.
